Bike Delco: the best thing since the bicycle itself!
Bike Delco was started in <TBD> by Delaware County residents that want a simpler, cheaper, and more enjoyable way to get around our county.
Delaware County, PA (Delco) is the 5th most populated, and the 3rd smallest county in the state of PA. Despite that, there are few ways to get around to it’s parks and collections of unique town centers, except to get into your car and drive. Which is a shame, in such a vibrant county of urban, rural, and suburbian areas.
Bike Delco is working with groups like Bicycle Collation, Transition Town Great Media, and many others to local groups, to stitch together community events, local town groups, and bike interest clubs into a county-wide effort to make biking safe, effective, cheap and beloved way to get around Delaware County.

Our Vision
We want to have a county where people have the freedom to travel, by foot, by bike, by transit, or yes, even by private care. We believe that making Delaware County more bike friendly will make our county more vibrant, get kids outdoors, and connect people. At the same time it will reduce the traffic, jams the gridlock, and the isolation so many people acknowledge is an issue in our area.
